Kradetter Shines For Me

Welcome to the Kradetter website of English Setters- the most friendly and lovable of any breed of dog. I first started with English Setters way back in 1967. I gave home to Storm who was a two year old tricolour bred by Miss Jones. He arrived in time for my daughter's fifth birthday. I then acquired a 'Noyna' bitch two years later. This would be my starting point in breeding. She gave me two beautiful litters and I kept my first Rena (Valalara Indigo Moon) I continued with the breed until the late 70s but not breeding after 1978. A back injury meant letting my dogs become what they naturally wanted to be- pets. After several years of pain, traction and eventually a good osteopath .I found myself on the mend. Then one day I visited Alnwick Open Show with my sister and spied the lovely Albert (Caleydene Chieftain)and fell for the breed all over again. When Fern came up for sale off I went to buy her and here I am having been back with English Setters for the past thirteen years. Fern is now thirteen years old and has had two very nice litters. There are photos of Sam, Kara and Rena on the website!!
